Who's afraid of the big, bad wolf?

Fable: Into the Woods is the up-in-coming sequel to Henry Winstone's Siege of Samarkand fan-fiction epic.
Synopsis[edit | edit source]
It has been ten years since the Siege of Samarkand, and Altair's parents are adamant that he should go to school at Brightwall Academy. With generous contributions from the monarchy, the Academy has grown from being simply a library with a fountain of knowledge, to an educational system in its own right. Gone are the days where Heroes are born, now any child exhibiting an exceptional aptitude in one of three areas: Strength, Skill or Will, can attend the prestigious Brightwall Academy.
However news soon arrives on Brightwall's doorstep, concerning the state of their sister community, Albrighton to the south. Country superstition has the people in a panic, young girls are being plucked from their beds, and some are blaming the wolves in the surrounding forest. Something sinister is afoot, but can Altair's logical outlook on life interfere with the bigger picture and cost a girl her life?
Taking us back to the first Fable game, where sly remarks at classic fairytales were obvious to those who knew where to look, Henry Winstone re-invisions the Grimm Fairy Tales classic: Red Riding Hood, with a Fable flair.
